We always recommend NOT to sterilize in the microwave. In this case particularly since it is a pacifier made of PP where the rubber of the nipple contributes to the assembly. Uncontrolled high temperatures could cause the pacifier to disassemble, making it unusable.
For proper sterilization boil water in a saucepan; when boiling, turn off and remove from heat; soak the pacifiers for 2-5 minutes.
